This 990 acre reservoir is located about four miles east of the Josephine-Jackson County line just north of the California border. Applegate Road passes along the west side of the reservoir which has largemouth and smallmouth bass, black crappie, bluegills, brown bullheads and rainbow trout and landlocked chinook salmon. There isn't much shallow water in this clear reservoir, so anglers skilled in deepwater techniques usually have the best success. All of the fish reach good size relative to their species. This reservoir became very low in
2002 (more than 80 feet below full pool) and it will be interesting to see how fish populations were affected.
