This four acre lake is located just west of the railroad tracks and can be reached by turning right (north) along the tracks instead of left as though going to Snag Lake. Stump Lake contains largemouth bass, black crappies, bluegills, brown bullhe and and yellow perch and a very few smallmouth bass were reported back around 2000, but not since then.. Most of the fish are small with very few of the bass measuring more than 12-inches long. The pond immediately north of Stump has a fair population of somewhat larger bass but is very difficult to fish because of shallow, weedy water. In the summer of 2009, the dominant fisheries in Stump Lake were for largemouth bass and bluegills.
