This five acre pond is located slightly more than a mile southeast of the community of Alfalfa off from Dodd's Road. Currently holds largemouth bass and redear sunfish and produced the state record redear sunfish in 1992 - a fish that weighed a half-ounce less than two pounds. It seems that quite a few of the larger redears in the pond are dying of old age and their carcasses can often be seen along the shoreline in the late spring and early summer. In fall of 2008, some nice-sized white crappie were caught from the lake, but the pond’s primary fishery is for small brown bullheqads. Virtually the entire shoreline of the pond is
fishable.
