This 148 acre lake is located about two and a half miles east and slightly south of Selma. Although receiving trout plants, Selmac is most famous for producing state record largemouth bass of which it has produced several. The lake record currently stands at slightly over 11 pounds and seven ounces and there is a special limit on the bass (check your regulations). Selmac also has populations of black crappies, bluegills and brown bullheads with a very few warmouth also present.. There is a resort on the lake and if they haven’t misplaced their photo album of lunkers taken from the lake, it’s a most impressive read. P Heley
