This 45 acre very shallow lake is located about three miles east of Waldport on the south side of the Alsea Highway. There is a fishing dock at the lower end of the lake, which contains a few native cutthroat trout as well as some largemouth bass and brown bullheads. The lake is quite shallow and very weedy, but has produced bass to nine pounds and once held the state record for brown bullheads. The population of small bass in the reservoir seemed to be better than normal in 2007, which should bode well for future bass angling.
