This 65 acre lake is located about seven miles west and north of Tillamook along Bay Ocean Road. It was created by the formation of a dike across a section of Tillamook Bay. Quite shallow and weedy, it is heavily stocked with rainbow trout in the spring (including some broodstock fish and surplus steelhead) and also has populations of largemouth bass and bluegills. Crappie were stocked a number of years ago, but have not done well. Bass to at least seven pounds have been pulled from this very shallow lake created by diking a portion of the west side of the bay.
