King County’s Opal Lake is located about 10 miles S.E. from the town of Skykomish. It is one of the string of lakes in the Necklace Valley. It covers about 3 surface acres, reaches depths of about 20 feet and lies at an elevation of 4750 feet. It is reported to have fish species of Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout.
