This shallow lake normally covers about 200 acres, but can triple in surface area during wet year. Cullaby is located about four miles north of Gearhart and a half-mile east of Highway 101. Hawkins Road approaches the west shoreline and there is a county park at the northwest end of the lake. Cullaby contains white and black crappies, brown bullheads, bluegills and yellow perch and produced a nine and a half pound largemouth bass only a few years ago. Since it is once again being stocked with trout, even larger bass have been caught including a few that weighed all of 10 pounds. P. Heley
