This 13 acre lake is located just west of Highway 101 about seven miles north of Reedsport. Most of the fishing is done by small boats launched from the short road running along the east shore next to Highway 101, but there is some shore fishing available by walking around the north end of the lake. Most of the fishing is for planted trout that seem to carryover quite well and reach respectable size, but largemouth bass, yellow perch and bluegills are also in the lake. In recent years, the average size of the bluegills has shrunk somewhat, but there are still some big bass in the lake.
Really doesn’t receive much fishing pressure considering how easy it is to slide a small boat or float tube into it.
