This 290 acre lake is located on the east side of Highway 36 nearly equidistant between Mapleton and Junction City. Triangle offers fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout as well
as kokanee salmon, but its best fishing is for bluegills and largemouth bass.
Triangle also contains some yellow perch, brown bullheads and pumpkinseed sunfish. Lots of seven inch bluegills available and the lake has produced bass weighing more than ten pounds, but they seem relatively tough to catch. A very few black crappie are in the lake and they reach good size.
