RE:Info. on the seeplakes at potholes.
I haven't heard about this rumor. But I know some of the seep lakes don't have bass anyways, maybe they have killed off bass in some of them before? I doubt they will kill off some of the smaller ponds that don't even have names, which can have some real hogs if you know where to go!

RE:Please break my afternoon of fishing down
Pinpointing and catching fish in the smaller bowl shaped lakes on the Westside of the State can be often times be more challenging than finding and catching fish in the larger lakes surprisingly. There are often no points, drop offs, rock piles, defined composition changes, obvious flats, humps, et...

Please break my afternoon of fishing down
I want to hear what you guys would change given the following circumstance: I fished about 4 hours today on crescent lake in pierce county. for those who aren't aware, this lake is pretty small and bowl shaped with pretty much no special bottom features. I made a quick loop around the lake with the ...

Horseback/Fishing expedition
A buddy and I were thinking about going on a 2-3 day camping adventure on horseback. We'll fish for anything, but I tend to like bass and drier climates. Anybody have any suggestions as to a way this could work out in Washington? Or any stories of doing something like this in the past? If at all pos...

RE:New panfisher needs help!
Thanks for the help guys seems to be all I need to get things going!
(Kzoo I might just use a dropshot rig with smaller bait because of all the bluegill hits I get in addition to huge largies!)

New panfisher needs help!
I fish for bass in a few lakes and notice the panfish everywhere. I am going on a trip soon and I'd like to know what is the best/easiest way to catch these from the banks of lakes. Also what are the best/worst tasting panfish? Do panfish taste different depending on the size of the fish? What size ...

Tacoma News Tribune. I haven't looked for a pic. But there was none in the paper nor was there an article about how it was caught. (Probably a 10 year old with a worm and a bobber as it always is with the monsters)

RE:The benafits of joining a bass club.
I've just joined and it's fun going to the meetings I am soaking up info like a sponge. Also they mentioned I will learn more in one day of tournament fishing than 10 days of going out on my own. So it's definately a huge learning process. I have my first tournament I'm in the backseat on Washington...

Fishing Line: the basics
I was at a bass club meeting the other day and it was brought to my attention by a member that Bass at times DO see your line and obviously this ruins your action when they do. This has never dawned on me and I was like ****......I need to get to know what lines r best for what. I have seriously und...

RE:Potholes question
tt400. I agree the dunes all look the same and are pretty confusing to all anglers who are somewhat recreational and without a gps (if you really want to get deep into the dunes a gps is essential) But always keep in mind the beaver huts! The bass love em and the locals know it more than anyone. Als...

yea senkos tear up like no other. I always wonder if Yamamato made them so tearable so we have to buy more when even little dinks rip them up? Anybody try the senko knock offs?

RE:Soft Plastic Storage
My soft plastic storage is.......anywhere (even in the cup holder on the boat) anyway probably not a good idea. I gotta say I love that binder though. Some of my senko's bleed this clear liquid when left out for a while. The liquid beads up on the plastic of the body. When I see this is the worm bas...

Theory: controversy in lure color choice (long)
First of all, bass can see color by the sole fact that they have rhodopsin in their eyes. Rhodopsin is a chemical that both bass and humans have in their eyes and allows the eye to see color instead of shades of black/gray/white. Cones- Main structure of eye to see color (contains rhodopsin) Rods- M...
