ChrisB....you should pull out the tube and hit up Trout together.

What did the float tube cost the gift buyer :) Found it on CL for $140 brand new. PROS: Moves through the water with little effort. The water only comes up to my knees. Makes "pitching"/casting alot easier since your high. Very durable bottom. Cons: Your upper body acts like a sail since you sit up...

I was fishing up in the pads and skipping way underneath those tree branches. I'll probably hit it up tomorrow afternoon.

What.....not even a hit? Yeah, that water is warm (just perfect for float tubing). Last week I hit up Sawyer and froze my nads off.

KZOO-"If I had only one bait to use across the country: Senko" I would say SENKO too. You can just use it just about anywhere. They are boring to fish with sometimes because they are a slow presentation, but it's fun skipping it under trees, docks, boats, etc.... and its fun just to see your line do...

There were a couple of beds (empty)....but i was pretty low to the water level (in my tube), so it was hard to tell at times. I only covered about 200yds of bank from the boat launch. I just got lucky on one of the beds pulled the smaller on first.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was going through withdrawls....so had to pull out the good ol' float tube and hit up trout lake.

Give these hooks a try......rigged with a stick bait (senkos) or a shaky worm and you'll be suprised
