I went from a 12v 50# to a 24v 65# and couldn't be happier. My boat is a 16' Bayliner Trophy 1710 (Bass boat) and if you don't steady yourself speed 5 will knock you off your feet when you push the foot pedal.

Never had battery life issues, even after 8+ hours on the water.

I think one of the main reasons trout are so popular, is that they are fairly easy to catch. Any person can go troll in a circle for a couple hours with a worm and a flasher and catch fish.

I'm looking for a decent outboard mechanic that can tune my johnson 90hp motor on my bass boat. I live in Spanaway and would prefer someone semi-local. Does anyone have any experience with boat shops near Spanaway/Tacoma? Anyone to avoid? What is a reasonable shop rate? Thanks in advance.
