Re: 2014 Steelhead Wrap-Up/Thank You
What lodge are you going to fish for? I have commercial fished on the Nushagak for the last 10 years, this is the first year I am not going up there. There are tons of kings and the lake fly fishing is also incredible. Make sure you bring lots of bug spray, the best kind you can find, price will not...

I know this wasn't sport caught(caught about 1 mile north of Dutch Harbor, AK) but thought its a cool picture to show how big halibut can get, 119''. That's my dad next to it, he is just short of 6' tall, picture from a year ago.

Re: How long will the salt wtr Silver run last?
we fished Thursday morning for about 5 hours, 7am-noon, slack water was at 10:30. We caught both coho at about 9:20 and 9:30, both at 85' with a white hoochie and green flasher. We were fishing from Shilshole to West point, fish were caught south of the locks but before west point...Didn't see any o...

Re: Skook Lately?
I thought about going to the skook on saturday. Last minute I decided to go to the cowlitz instead. There was a bite on for about 2 hours. I didnt catch any but there was probably 10 fish that came out between about 15 guys on the bank by me. Since I planned on going to the skook I didnt load up on ...

Re: Anacortes Derby
That is the consensus I have been getting , 18-24 for coho, and 3-4 feet for kings... I've heard a couple reasons, one being coho will bite until it gets it and kings will bite once and give up? So the closer to the flasher the more erratic ... ?

Anacortes Derby
I fished the Anacortes Derby this last weekend. I dont get a chance to fish in the salt much since I don't have a boat but i figured we would have a couple reports from this last weekend and I saw none. We fished all day Saturday without a single bite and all day sunday without a single bite until 1...

Re: Korker Chrome or Rivershed BOA
I recently bought the Simms ones. I know you didn't ask about the Simms but I'll give a little input. I was first worried about buying the Simms BOA because the reviews were all 1 or 5 stars, most people love them but there was a consistent amount of complaints about them breaking so I asked around ...

Re: Catch of Kings
This is about 2 years old but still the biggest fish my friend has ever caught. The story begins with me and some friends going over to leavenworth for the weekend. While I was in town my buddy in the picture gave me a call saying we should go fishing. I told him that fishing was closed in the river...
