Re: Where can I find these?
I just wanted to give a big thanks to fishinChristian. He made some of these plastics for us and although he said they aren't quite right, they look great to me! It takes a heck of a guy to do something like that so I just wanted to say thanks again.

Re: Long Lake/ Lake Spokane access
The spokane house launch is open year round, at least it was when I used to waterfowl hunt there a couple years back. Give the ranger station a call and see if anything has changed. I'm not sure what's going on with the dnr launch anymore because they seem to have a problem finding hosts to run the ...

Re: Camping At PotHoles
Where did you end up going? We are switching it up this year and were going to do our group trip to potholes, probably in early June. We typically try and get a group site to ourselves to be away from the masses. 2 boats, travel trailer and 3-4 tents.

Re: Where can I find these?
I appreciate the feedback but it looks like renegade soft plastics are out of business so I'm assuming they won't be found in stores, even Walmart. I wish I had the time to make my own plastics but I don't and I don't bass fish as much as I used to. I was just looking to pick up a few packages to se...

Where can I find these?
These are my dad's favorite soft plastics (in Texas) and I've used them up here with some success. He's been out for a few years so I thought I'd try to track some down. I'm not sure if renegade is still around?

Re: Sprague Lake
I started writing out a long response to my frustration of the lake but figured I'd just say I'm in for the trip and I'm sure I'll be able to vent on the water. The problem is I am not concerned about the bass population at all. I fished this lake for catfish and walleye and I was very successful it...

Re: What's the difference? Humminbird
Don't what you were looking at but current pricing on Humminbird's website is $849.99 for the 858c HD and $949.99 for the 858c HD DI. The 858c images on Humminbird's website do not have "DI" or "Down Imaging" in any of the pictures, only the 858c HD DI does. [confused] As you know, I ultimately wen...

Re: Smoking Deals/Great buys and Sales!
Wholesale sports in the northtown mall of spokane is having a going out of business sale. Minimum 30% off with some things being 50%. While I was there today, they had a fill your bag promotion with tackle for half off. I was only getting things for the boat so I am not sure what they have for ammo ...

What's the difference? Humminbird
I can't seem to figure it out. The humminbird 858c DI and the 858c HD DI is pretty confusing. The HD DI is cheaper when looking on Humminbird's site but it seems that the HD down imaging has deeper range than the other DI model. I was looking at one in a store today and the DI model said HD in the s...

Re: Best all around boat for 20k
Thanks for the quick response guys. I appreciate the suggestion. That does look like a pretty good deal. But. And this is probably going to sound idiotic but I don't want to drive 5 and half hours to go look at a boat that I may or may not buy. I wish I only had to drive 5 hours to look at my curre...

RE:Fishing & hunting license price increases
It doesn't make sense to me why we can't get our s*** straight. "Fishing and hunting contribute more than $1.4 billion a year to the state’s economy, benefitting local communities, small business owners and the people they employ" Anderson said... With that kind of claimed contributions, you know e...

Using crappie jigs tipped with a chunk of worm. If fishing at night, worm on the bottom will work just fine.

I haven't fished liberty in 5 years or so but we hammered the bullhead during the day in about 3 feet of water last time I was out. They were pretty good size for bullheads.

RE:Fishing & hunting license price increases
My point was geared more towards the hunting limits. I don't really have a problem with fishing license prices here since there are rivers/lakes open year round.
It just gets me that prices go up while limits and time go down.

RE:Fishing & hunting license price increases
It will be about $30.00 and as far as I can see, when buying a license you still get the WDFW parking permit free. We really shouldn't complain too much, at least for the general fishing license. Compared to the surrounding states, we are paying less, far less than California, which is $43.46 Howev...

The snake is the only place locally that you will find channels. Keep working at it, you'll get them and a couple other species. If you want ANY catfish, bullheads can be had at almost all the lakes around here.

why don't you but secret lake in bla bla county or something. Otherwise, you have people fishing a body of water that doesn't even have the kind of fish they are looking for. I use this whole website as a key to what is biting where and what to use and how the water clarity is. I'm not one to bomba...
