Best reel for casting long distance?
What do you guys think the best reel/rod combo for casting LIGHT lures long distances? Besides a fly reel/rod of course. I seen a guy yesterday throwing what looked to be a small panther martin from shore a great distance further that I could with my traditonal spinning reel. He obviously was doing ...

RE:Good Fisheries Near Kent
Right on man. I appreciate your quick reply. Sounds to me you guys really have a lot of options. Since I will probably only have 3 or 4 hours of free time and you sound like you know the area very well where would you go?
Thanks again bud.

Good Fisheries Near Kent
I will be in Kent over the weekend and was wondering of any nice lakes nearby that we would have a chance at catching something. Probably just trout this time of year. Lake Fenwick is only a couple miles away from where will be staying. Is it a nice lake? Thanks for your help in advance.

You got to be kidding me! He hooked is limit 2 straight days. What is wrong with that? For all those Kutthroatkilla haters out there, GET A LIFE!! Kutthroatkilla was an asset to this site and I sincerely hope that in time, he will eventually come back. I guess some people are just sore losers.

Just wondering what happened to Kutthroatkilla's awesome Lake Washington reports. I went to show them to my pops but they weren't there. What happened?

RE:cabelas
No need to apologize. I am not a big fan of Cabelas at all. I would much rather buy from local businesses. Curious though, how do you know their not opening one?

There are also rumors going around that they will open one up in Yakima in the old Costco building. Any one else from the area heard this?

RE:Need some help
I am also looking to start fly fishing. I didn't really want to spend $200 on my first rod/reel. What do you think about some of the cheaper rods/reels that they sell at walmart? Are they a waste of money or could they be good for the beginner? Hey BEERMAN1981 I heard Rays sells measle beef, you kno...
