RE:Silver Lake Open Cowlitz County (March19th)
Sounds pretty interesting but I'm not sure about the bit about the electronic Oujia board.

Bunk Material
Does anyone know of a good place to buy the correct type of carpet to recover the bunks on a bass boat trailer? Cabela's only sells it in six foot lengths and my sons trailer needs seven foot.

RE:It can happen to the best of us.
It would seem that the native or "wild" fish are inferior to the hatchery fish. My reasoning for this is if the native fish are so delicate that taking them out of the water prior to release over stresses them but doesn't affect the hatchery fish then the native fish are of a weaker stock. If we tru...

Thanks it was alot of work but I'm pretty happy with it. Hope the ducks like it. LOL. Now I just have to tune up my 25 hp Johnson that hasn't been run in several years and I'll be good to go.

RE:Are you a Boat Ramp Hog?
Well I guess we know what the "D" in Big D stands for. Harassing those poor folks that just wanted to go out for a spin on the lake! LOL j/k. All I can say is you have a whole lot more patience than I. Some folks simply don't have a clue. You may have saved those folks a lot of grief and saved some ...

RE:Gluvit
Well I painted the bottom with Aluthane and put it in Spanaway lake. I used my 46 lb. trolling motor and went all over the lake. Happy to report no leaks. I've painted the inside of the boat with Aluthane as it is a self etching top coat or primer. I had to do that as the Parker duck boat paint I'm ...

RE:Gluvit
I put that on an alum driftboat 15 years ago. Was a messy, time consuming job. I sold the boat 3 years later when it needed re-coating. Of course if I'd not bumped so many rocks it would have lasted longer. Never heard of anyone using it on anything but DB's. Some friends that have alum DB's have b...

I just spent the three day week end coating the bottom of my 14' Valco aluminum boat. What a bugger of a job. After inspecting it tonight when I got home from work it looks like I'll need another coat of Gluvit.

We got the motor back last Friday. It had a burned up brush plate and was fully covered by the warranty.

RE:SILVER LK. HELP (cowlitz)
Texas rigged creature baits work well in the shallows. Look for reeds and grass beds in the inlets and outlets.

RE:Minn Kota 65 AT/FC
My son took it to Angler's Choice which is over an hour from Spanaway which is south of Tacoma. I'm afraid it's going to cost big bucks as I believe it got hot when getting into weeds. It appeared to run well after the encounter with the weeds but the boat was left uncovered during a rain storm so w...

RE:Minn Kota 65 AT/FC
Well my son took the motor in to the repair center. It will take at least a week to get it back. The repairman wasn't sure it would be covered by the warranty. While my son was there someone else brought in the same exact motor with the same problem. Time will tell I guess.

Minn Kota 65 AT/FC
The Minn Kota trolling motor on my son's bass boat died. It is a 65 AT/FC and worked very well until it got hung up in a lot of weeds when we were fishing last weekend. The motor was working when we pulled the boat out of the water but when we double checked it yesterday it wouldn't spin. We've trou...
