I was talking with some at the lake yesterday and he told me that there's been vehicle break ins at Clear Lake in Skagit County so everyone be careful, it could happen to anyone anywhere especially when you leave in your boat and they know you won't be back for awhile

Thanks for everyones input,i went out this morning in the pouring rain and caught 3 nice triploids with my new downrigger at 10', with the water being warm i"m catching and seeing more fish with parasites on them, I was the only one on the lake this morning from 10:40-2:30 i had a blast at Lk McMuur...

Bought and tried my first down rigger tonight,a mini pro troll from cannon, i had sucess with my first catch,but how do you get the humming out of your cable while your trolling

I have a Minn Kota 35 it puts out 17lbs thrust 4 speeds forward , 2 backwards, 1-5lbs thrust,2 -8 lbs thrust, whats the recomended speed for trolling for lake fishing for Trout
