So salmon season opened up on this stretch of river last week. Has anyone been out there yet? If so, did you do any good?

RE:Spin-glo setup for plunking off the bank????
One last question...If I'm planning to fish the Colombia around Vernitas area, what kind of pole should I be using? I have a 9' Shimano or a 12' Ugly Stick?

Spin-glo setup for plunking off the bank????
Can anyone offer some insight and a possible picture or diagram of how to rig a spin-glo setup for bank plunking? I am new to the area and have read about it but cannot figure the spin-glo setup. I fathom the concept of the flatfish/qwikfish running in the current and setting your weight, but the ex...

All the Seep Lakes have free campgrounds. Most likely have to pay at Potholes, as I do not believe you can camp at Medicare Beach.

RE:Pasco area Sturgeon Fishing on the Columbia
Are there any bait shops in the Richland area that sell sturgeon baits? I know in Kennewick at Wholesale Sports I've seen some stuff in there. Dyed herring, I think they had anchovies too. Can't remember what else they had there. I'm sure if they had that stuff that they probably have pickled baits...

Check out a map of all the seep lakes just south of Potholes. Quite a few have camp sites that are free and are warmwater fisheries. Use the lake reports on this site to scope your options...

RE:Pasco area Sturgeon Fishing on the Columbia
Hey guys reaching out for a little help here. Planning a trip to go after some Sturgeon the middle of April down by the Pasco/Yakima yacht club area. My big question is what is the current like down this way? I'm wondering what size of lead I should be using? I was guessing around 8 oz cannon balls...

RE:Billy Clap, sturgeon?
I would bet my life on sturgeon in B.C. It is a pefect sturgeon fishery, and with the fill coming from Banks, you know they got washed into there. I read that guys post too, and while he does kind of ramble and wander with his narrative, I do believe he was annotating to sturgeon in B.C. ...."Be car...

RE:Artic Grayling
I grew up in Evanston, Wy. We used to slay the grayling up at some small lake above the Popo Agie(?) River out of Lander. Its at the way at the end of the road, where the Trailhead to The Upper River starts....They would spawn like mad up some small streams there...
