RE:Shakers
I'm sorry, but who in their right mind would want to fish for shakers? If you are using bait then they will probably swallow the hook and you will end up killing them anyways. I have caught shakers on accident fishing for bullhead with herring chunks and they always die when they swallow the bait. H...

RE:trout fishing Auburn Wa
Don't try lake tapps for trout fishing.... You wont get anything because the trout cant get in because they have a net or something blocking them from the river or stream if i remember correctly. If there are any i bet the muskies gobble them up.

RE:Trolling for bass?
I wouldnt troll for bass, maybe trout, but not bass gpc, maybe [troll] for trout? Are you kidding me? Thats the best way to friggen catch trout about 90% of the time on any lake hands down. You obviously dont fish for trout much because thats a pretty ignorant comment for someone who has 390 posts....

RE:What is your favorite bait/lure for Lingcod
My uncle caught a giant ling cod one year off of a small island in the San Juans using an artificial squid-like lure. The ling could have easily fit a basketball in its mouth. I always use jigs... Those lures work pretty good for me when i have gone. Another uncle of mine went scuba diving in the sa...

RE:catching and eating carp!!!!
I think the dog ripping those carp up is pretty damn funny. Id like to see a muskie attack a carp. I know they are put in Lake Tapps too for the overpopulation and problems they cause. I saw the carp doing their dirtywork of rooting up the ground in the shallow water of 1-2 feet where i was as the l...

RE:Deer lake on Whidbey Island?
Ahahahahaha! Any lure can catch a big trout Gery. As long as the trout is either hungry or pissed off its gonna take anything that gets in its way. Sam and I have caught loads of trout 20+ inches at our favorite lakes using flatfish. In fact thats what we primarily use. I didn't say the flatfish wou...

My friend and I want to learn some good tips for fishing in lake sammamish since we live fairly close. We have a 12 foot aluminum boat with a 15 hp motor and minn kota, fishfinder, the works, and are mostly interested in fishing for cutthroat/rainbow trout and large/small mouth bass. If anyone has a...
