I agree, Who ever shot the eagles need to pay for what they did or he did, being prior military the BALD EAGLE stands for alot in this country, Hopefuly someone turns him in.

One lake is south of spokane and has a bit of a walk to get to the ice but can catch nice bass and perch, its not in the fishing regs but the lake is open year round, I can send you a pm for more info if you would like i dont tell to many people about these smaller waters

Like the idea also, been ice fishing for several years, live in spokane and know of several lakes not mentioned yet, Im primarily after bass but any fish is fun to catch, just posted a pic on secrets lakes of bass, we will need to get together and do some ice fishing.

Thanks rjn cajun, bassdood and markfromsea, I did try to fix the bait and went out for a couple of hours today from shore at Long Lake but only caught one about 8" long, the water level is down a couple of feet from last weak, the bite was really slow. Did not have time today to run back out to Eloi...

Here are the other 2 fish, the big hog weighed in at 5.5 lbs and 20.5" long, the bait was rigged wacky style thats the only way it would stay on the hook, wish the bait was still good enough to use one more day but its not, so if i go out tomorrow it wil be to have fun and catch fish. best of luck t...

Caught these large mouths on Eloika Lake, all hit on the fall weightless texas rigged, the biggest being 21.5"

OK, I have 3 fish with tape measurements, 3 fish are 20", 17.5", 17". I see the biggest at 20". Mike
