Re: Lew's Reels?
I'm no expert, but I've gone almost exclusively to LEWS for baitcasting and spinning reels. The $100-150 reels feel like $300 reels to me. Smooth! On another note, I've gone almost exclusively to the bass pro shop rods. For $100 or less, they're light and sturdy AND if you break one or "feed one to t...

Lowrance HDS gen 2 chart cursor coordinates
For some reason, both my touch HDS 9 and HDS 7 no longer show cursor details (Lat/Lonf/distance to point) when you place the curser on the map. I must have jacked up something in the settings. Both use point 1 gps and are using the NMEA 2000 system. It's getting real frustrating. Can someone help?

Where are the American Lake (Tacoma) smallies??
American Lake has become my primary fishing lake and although I've fished there about 6 times, I'm having an extremely difficult time finding/catching smallmouth bass. I've fished the north in deep waters (30ft) and shallow waters using dropshots, crankbaits, seinko's, and spinnerbaits. I've fished ...

Lake Washington smallies vs small Nitro bassboat
Thinking about going out to Lake Washington or Friday or Saturday for some smallmouth fishing. Was going to launch from coulon park. I have 2 issues I could use help with. 1. I have a Nitro NX750 (17.5' long, 86" beam). Is this boat big enough to handle Lake Washington? 2. Never been to Lake Washing...

RE:Silver Lake
I found this map of silver lake before my buddy Terry and I went fishing there. It helped us learn some parts of the lake faster, before we even got there.

Lake Washington and 17.5 ft Nitro NX750
Wanting to go fish Lake Washington for smallmouth's, but worried about how rough it is. Does anyone know how a 17.5 ft Nitro NX750 would handle in Lake Washington? Is it better to fish north or south of 520? I'll be coming from Port Orchard in Kitsap..... which launch should I use? Anybody want to s...
