I have found that the dads I catch seem to vary from one individual to another slightly. After I get them home clean then up and get them into well oxygenated water their color changes slightly again, some more than others. But here is a picture of one off the bigger ones underside I caught.

I caught him bottom fishing for perch by mistake. Jigging a Simple worm with a small weight just outside the weed beds. My dad has caught several by accident this way while perch fishing on Lake Washington. Certainly a pretty fish.

Here's a new one I caught this week on Lake Washington. I am almost certain it is a Tench. This one was several lbs although I didn't weigh it. It had red eyes and a downward facing mouth. The fins were round, the skin was a dark green, and the scales were small.
