RE:Fishy myths?
I have no problem giving them to you. I don’t have a garden any way. I just can’t stand trying to fillet them for a bite of meat. I guess if they would get to any size it might be ok but most don’t make it over six inches. I bet they taste allot like perch. I guess I made the fertilizer reference be...

Another good resource is the local Biologist. You can call fish and game and they will give you the number. I know that the local biologist I talked to said to kill every blue gill in the lake you catch and use it as fertilizer. The reasoning for this (keep in mind this is a smaller lake) was there ...

RE:DWORSHAK LAKE
I’ve never camped or fished dworshak but you might catch a record small mouth if you go. I fish for steelhead below the damn on the north fork and the locals tell me it is probably the best small mouth fishery in the great north west. Its funny you posted this I was just reading an article yesterday...

RE:Fishy myths?
I think its ok as long as you practice catch and release and if you do want to keep fish to eat only keep smaller ones as long as they are legal of course. They’re better eating any way. Nothing is worse then keeping illegal fish. P.S. If you’re looking for good table fair perch are far better tasti...

RE:Fishy myths?
I fish a fairly shallow lake (25 feet at the deepest point) on the eastside a lot and have seen bass bedded by the launch. The launch also gets a ton of pressure because it is one of the only places people with no boats can fish publicly. One time on the lake I seen a kid catch a bedded bass and kee...

There are some good holes through out the camp ground area and up above it. Im sure there are some nice fish in there still you just have to put in the time and aqui...

I think you answered your own question. THE WEEDS! they do make it hard to fish even for bass guys. But your right it does hold some lunkers. I went there a couple weeks ago and the weeds are already a nightmare. However I seen multiple spawning fish averaging at least 5 lbs. I think that this is a ...

RE:Trolling Help
Try trolling plugs. Like a rapala countdown # 5 or just experiment with other makes or models. I have trolled tons of diffrent lures but have always caught the bigest trout on plugs.

RE:Spokane River
I hate answering a questions with a question but waht type of gear are you trying to use spinning or fly, and are you trying to fish the upper or lower region of the river. I think I read another post that said the upper was the best portion of river, I have been fishing the river for a few years no...

RE:attaching transducer to boat
I didnt want to drill holes in my boat so i took a piece of 1 x 2 wood and attached the cone to it. then i just used a c clamp to mount the wood to the transom and no holes. Ive had it this way for about a year and works great. Also if i ever have to park my boat outside I can easly remove the whole...

RE:Pend Orellie bass
I havent fished this area for bass sorry but i can tell you I just read an article about guys going up there and catching huge pike. The reason i bring this up is because he also said he was having fun catching bass as well on the pike lures. I was just thinking about heading around the same area bu...
