Northwest Fishing Reports

I went to head back down to the skookumchuck this weekend but would like to find some one to carpool with and split gas , I can drive pm if anyone is interested!!

I was going to experiment today , but I couldn't bring myself to change the setup that was working

I like to fish bobber with split shots the amount very depending on the size of the float usually a 3/8 or 1/2 oz I've always used bue Mac floats I'll try using a 1/2 clear drift with the amount of weight I would use for a 3/8 to see if that gives me the extra visibility I need

So I've tried the clear drifting floats, and every time I use them I feel like I'm not setting my depth right because I can't tell how the float is moving since I can only see the Orange top. Has anyone else had issues with that? Any way to help out with that? I like the idea behind the clear float ...

Nice fish the biggest steelhead I've caught so far was 11 lbs just and now I want bigger lol

Got the first steelhead of 2015 starting the year out good:)

I've never tryed sand shrimp so I want to give it a shot so you guys cut the sand shrimp into pieces or throw the whole shrimp on

It can't hurt I've caught some with shrimp tip jigs and I got two today with out the shrimp

I'm thinking of going up there tomorrow as well Danny let me know if you want to meet up and go

I'm going to try my first batch tomorrow morning hopefully they come out good

I'm going to try it again in the morning I wish I knew of some more spots out there :(

Well I went out today and saw lots of fish saw 2 or 3 landed properly and and few more brought up tail first I lost one on a twiching jig and one on corky and yarn

Do you guys think raw shrimp will work ?

I'd be interested in hitting up the Wallace tomorrow in the morning let me know if you don't mind a Noob tagging along
