RE:Opening day!
I will be skipping the opener...hit blackmans (snohomish) on Thursday without much luck. Will be trying Storm in Monroe on Monday morning and see how that does. to the OP can you give a report on Erie when you go up and come back. Im interested to see how it fishes with 2500 TRBs being planted and h...

I have an Optima D34 deep cycle marine battery....works great with a Minn Kota Endura 45. Also have the Minn Kota charger that you posted...easy to use, quick recharge.

RE:Where have you had problems with breakins or vandalism
Thus far been lucky and haven't had any issues. I know Flowing in Snohomish County has had problems at the public launch as has Martha Lake (AM) at the public launch. As a rule of thumb never leave anything in plain site, always lock your doors, and take the MOUNTS out of your window for GPS and oth...

RE:Lake Blackmans Thank You.
Glad I decided to go to Flowing last Saturday...usually I hit Blackmans but the fish have been really small over the last year. Glad you were able to get the guy and had some help from people who were observant. I would hope someone would do the same if my truck were tagged in the parking lot....esp...

RE:Lone Lake (Whidbey Island)
buddy and I took off after work and fished it...we work graveyard so hit the lake around 0900. Both using float tubes and trolling we managed to catch 1 rainbow between the two of us. Water was cold and weather was worse. It was around the 3rd week of February. Spent about 3.5 hours and only had 2 b...

RE:Trolling Flys
Its hard to get the right presentation on a spin cast pole vs an actual fly rod....best bet would be to get some weights that crimp onto your line (small beads) and then run a 8-14" leader with a fly attached to it...again its just a different feel without a fly rod... I went to Blackmans on Sunday ...

RE:pearrygen lake trout
Fished this lake with my dad several times a year since I was 9 (now 23) and always do well trolling wet flys on fly rods....if you troll up and down the far side of the lake towards the south end it usually tends to be the best....you'll know you are in the right spot when you see a wooden box down...

RE:Anybody been out to Blackmans lake recently?
I was going to go Monday 4/21 but I think the weather is still a little cold....I used to go a lot to Eastern Washington but lost the use of a boat and truck...Last Oct I bought an 05 F150 FX4 though and got my boat back out on the lakes (10 ft livingston)... I had good luck late last year (aug-sept...
