Re: Burbot (fresh water ling)
This is something I definitely want to get into. Once my boat is up to speed that is. Time to start researching as I have zero knowledge.

Re: The Green River in Auburn
A few things to note... 1) The post is titled "Green River in AUBURN", so thats why I didn't post the full regs. 2) This comes up every year, but it bothers me every time I see it. Downstream of 405 is considered the duwamish. Upstream of 405 is considered the green. It's like saying I caught fish ...

It is actually open from 1st Ave bridge to 405 on Sept 1st. Be sure to have your book with you and pay very close attention to the area you area fishing and ensure that it is open. The Green opens in sections.

Re: River Hawk Pro V 16?
Sweet looking ride. I had to back away from buying one. Wife had finally beat me into buying a house. I was looking at the 18 v pro or the kenai king. Had to shelve that until next year. I notice that you are missing something... my backside in the front to level her out.

Mike make sure you hook up with me this winter. I will get you into some winter steel. Although not as hot as a summer run they are still a blast to catch. See about getting you into double digits by next spring.

Re: Sunrise Baits?
I have fished them and have caught fish but found that I needed to take them out of the jar and dry em out for a few hours. The few jars I tried were very wet eggs, which would have been fine, even preferable in slower water chasing coho but I was tossing a long ways in faster water for kings and if...

Re: Shad with a float
I have thought about doing the same and from I have gathered I would suggest running your presentation 8 to 12 inches from the bottom? Figure thats about the range if you are drifting it. Of course I have never tried it but figure that to be a good starting point.

Its a shame they didnt have this program on the Umpqua. As a kid we would often catch 100 of these a day. Could have made some serious coin.

There are several listed on craiglist for 100 to 500. Over 20 listed when doing a search for pontoon under for sell. The cheaper the price the cheaper the toon. Need to figure out what kind of water you will be floating. I have the wilderness 11 from costco and no way would I take it down any techni...

lots of lakes within an hour drive of Kent. Have you thought about Kapowsin? Rent a small boat for the day. You will have a hard time keeping the trout of your line. And best is that there aren't any speed boats screaming around.
