I'll be going to the lower river tomorrow, plunking and bobber fishing. Sand shrimp for me, out of eggs and store bought ones aren't worth it for me.

I bought a bunch of 3/8th oz. bulk jigheads from Cabela's for like $3 and just dip them in pro-tec paint and add a soft plastic squid or hoochie. They look good enough to eat and they were only about 25 cents to make!

Yeah, but I've tried putting pots in there before and both times they were either stolen or pulled up and messed with. Maybe have to plan next time when there won't be so many people.

Yep, try logboom. Not that many big ones, though. all you'll need is a piece of worm on a hook, and a bobber if you like.
