RE:Minter Creek
No there was not a lot of people. I showed up and there were 2 people in the water and 3 standing at the bridge kinda just waiting for them to catch fish before they decided to get in. I got in and another guy followed. One guy hooked into a fish about 10 mins later and people watching from the brid...

RE:Minter Creek
I just got back from scouting Minter. Not many people at the high tide around 4:30PM and not a lot of fish. They are there just not thick. I'd definitely give it a week or two.

Minter Creek
Oh boy... I haven't been out there, but has anyone been to Minter Creek yet? From my experience from last year, this is the definition of combat fishing. I read a report from Chico Creek where the chums were thick in the water. Just curious to know if Minter is the same?

Try this website guys. http://www.hoodcanal.washington.edu/index.jsp I got my degree in oceanography with the UW and we spent a lot of time studying the Hood Canal. Plankton blooms, low dissolved oxygen levels and poor water circulation are some of the major factors contributing to a complex and som...

RE:Bow and Arrow Common Carp Fishing
Regs say Common Carp are pretty much open but Grass Carp are completley closed. Whats the difference? Ive been looking at pictures and Im not sure how to tell the difference. Lake Tapps has a bunch of large carp in it, are they Grass or Common? For me, the easiest way to tell the difference between...

If anyone is interested in getting started I saw an AMS Bowfishing Pro Combo Kit (http://www.amsbowfishing.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=265) at Joe's Sports. It retails for $146 on the website and was going for less than $60 Joe's. Only 1 left and I almost bought it for a trip to Banks ...

The picture came just last month on a vacation to Islamorada, Florida on a half day charter. Mahi-Mahi went 55lbs on the scale. Caught quite a few ahi-tuna too, but nothing as big as in the pic. Pier fished for tarpon, snook, baracuda, and snapper. Never been to the Islands, but hope to do so some d...

Bow and Arrow Common Carp Fishing
Has anyone ever done bow and arrow carp fishing? I was just watching Campbell Outdoor Challenge this morning and it was about bow fishing for carp. I know common common carp are an invasive species and a nuisance in Green Lake (Seattle), but I wonder how people around the lake would feel about someo...

Quite the opposite T. You should go out there and give it a shot. The weather is suppose to be nice. $5 to park and $5/person to fish off the dock.tommytitan08 wrote:I haven't been there for about a year last time i checked if i'm correct wasn't the dock gated off and the launch gated off as well?

Thanks T and K. They are trying to get some money to update the place (new roofs for the cabins and dock mods). You can tell they've done some work as the bathrooms have been updated with fresh paint, new toilets, and an automatic paper towel dispenser.

RE:Edmonds Fishing Pier GONE!!!
Oh got cha. That actually helps out a lot. The WDFW website points out the Edmonds Fishing Pier as the one I was referring to. Just click the link to see the map. It doesn't say anything about the pier Adam B was referring to. I didn't even know you could fish that one. No hard feeling to anyone out...
