RE:weyhauser land permision
I think it works a lot like hunting does. Its public to fish, but you still need permission to get onto their property. $150 is cheap for a permit. The hunting one was over $300 this past year. I was going to hunt it because it has amazing game, but not for that price!

For me this all comes down to species and the lake. Fire Tiger and perch usually work though for the bass I am after. but anything brown or darker when I try using them on trout

RE:line color- does it really matter?
It's all about clear line. I used to wonder the same thing and I tried a neon green once when fishing for bass and caught nothing. Then I switched over to clear and fished the exact same spot just moments afterwards and caught three ranging from 2-4 lbs. I dont know if it depends on the species or n...

This is the only time I have really encountered the problem other than lakes such as Chelan which turns into a party town during the summer. But luckily its big enough we can head up north and fish that one!

calling the cops will create problems in my time. When someone called them on me as a kid I came back with m-80s and and reaked havoc on people. that was when you could find those sort of things. They just need to get a good ole' fashion beat down to learn the idea of respect

Rod preference
Which do you prefer for your different kinds of fishing? Im not talking brands, im talking the stiffness of a rod. Do you prefer it to be more stiff or flimsy?
I prefer a flimsy rod for fish such as trout and other small fish but for bass I use a stiffer more durable rod

RE:Good Smoker Suggestion?
I agree with the garage sales. I picked up two smokers last year for $50. Perfect condition as well. Or do the craigslist bit. Seems to work with things!!!! Oh and buy some alder chips, soak the chips for 24 hours in jack daniels then use just a basic brown sugar, salt and water brine. INCREDIBLE!!!!

Very upset last night
So I went fishing last night around 6 pm at Cottage Lake in King County. Caught my limit without losing any fish which was a good time, but I was fishing from the dock. First it was mass crowded which made things difficult at first. Then the lake was full of nothing but loud, disrespectful, obnoxiou...

Other places are up towards hat island. I dont know exact location but I can ask my father who dives with me and see w...

The only thing they really do for unlisted lakes is tell you whether or not it has boat access or not.
