Prawn'in
I know this isn't fishing but, is anyone going to get some of those critters? I'm heading down to Hood Canal and do my usual thing. The weather suppose to be fantastic but with a little wind.

Re: Gardening 2014
Yep! We're are a little crazy when it comes to home grown food. We use no pestisides (spelling?) We have 3 fruit trees, my apple tree takes a beating from the critters that lay their eggs. 13 blue berry bushes, grapes, rasberry and marionberry going. In the garden, we have nine asparagus plants and ...

Re: I need a good place for boat canvas?
If you're looking for quality canvas. Churchill Bros up in Everett is hard to beat. They have a nice color selection of Sunbrella. Stuff is expensive but, I've had curtains for both of my boats and I wouldn't have anything else. Complete canvas for a 16ft SmokerCraft and a enclosure for my flybridge...

Re: Runner board thingies on trailer??
What I did was convert from the usual 2X4 to 2X6 and used the plastic covers. Went from 2 bunks to 4 bunks and now I can just push the boat off the trailer with one hand with only the tires in the water half way. This job you're thinking about doing is easy. Pressure treated and dried wood. I left t...

Buying a boat
Just wanted to pass on a experience I had buying a new boat again. Wayne Kairis at BobFeil boats in Wenatchee,WA is really a straight up up front guy. Doesn't try to pull the wool over your eyes. Gave me the best deal anywhere. Was the first place I went and he sold me a right now. If you're ever lo...

Advise on fishing Banks lake
I'm totally lost on where and what to use fishing Banks lake. I've fished both the south and north end of Banks trolling flies and don't even get a bite. Usually troll a black wolly bugger and sinking leaded line. Can anyone give me some pointers as to what I should be using and possibly where to fi...

Re: PLEASE HELP! BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
I know this is a bit far but, have you ever thought of fishing out of Ucluelet BC. That's on the westside of Vancouver Island. We fish it every year in July and the fishing outside is on fire. July is starting to reach the end for the big Halibuts but, there's plenty of smaller ones but, that's the ...

Eastside lakes
Forget about going fishing for the next couple days. Went to Blue Lake (Grant county) Big storm went threw and dumped so much water, the lakes were as high as I've ever seen. Water was cold and the fish quit biting. Only get a few strikes and was able to catch a couple nice big one. The wind was som...
