Lake Washington Coho
Does anyone have any info on coho in the big lake? I'm going to drop the boat in this weekend to work out my new steering cable and I figure I might as well drag something through the water while I'm at it. From the very very little I've been able to read about it I figure I'll fish a wigglewart on ...

Anyone looking to get on a tuna charter?
Howdy, Just looking to see if anyone might be interested in helping me out. I reserved a tuna/ salmon trip with All Rivers Guides for next saturday (september 18th) and my fishing buddy wussed out on me. I'm trying to avoid losing the deposit for his spot on the boat, so if anyone is interested in t...

West Point is what you're thinking of I believe (if you're talking about the point south of Shilshole). Also Meadown point to the North. I went over to Jeff Head today and landed a nice low-teens wild fish and a rezi coho.

Planning to hit the Bay on Friday morning. Any other spots to hit close by for the Area 10 opener if things are slow? What about for coho?

RE:Elliott Bay Chinook
Fished Saturday morning 4:15-7:00 and evening 8:00-9:45 and got the big old skunk. In the morning there were alot of boats out, but only saw one hookup the whole time. Looked like a blackmouth and he lost it at the boat....
Try again next weekend I suppose.

Elliott Bay Chinook
I'm heading out after some kings in Elliott Bay this weekend for the first time. I'm wondering if anyone can give me any pointers or wise words. As I keep my boat not a mile upstream from Todd Pacific I'm looking forward to easy access and being able to hit the water very early in the AM. Anyone mak...

Hitting the Salt this weekend... Which way to go?
Hey all, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice here. I keep my boat in Elliott Bay this weekend I'm planning on heading out to go after some kings. I've done most of my fishin in Area 9 over the years, but will now be focusing down this way since I hate to trailer if I don't have to. Anyway, my...

Rigging a legal J-Plug
Hi All,
I picked up some J-Plugs, but they come with two treble hooks on a harness. I'm wondering what the best way to rig them with single hooks to be legal for Washington salmon fishing. A picture would be awesome.
Thanks!

RE:Local paper article about Salmon
A9, I'd be surprised if we ever get the lake wash. sockeye fishery open again. At this point it's not really about hatchery numbers, the problem is that the returning fish don't make it to the spawning grounds. The theory is that warmer water in the ship canal is stressing/killing the fish as they r...

RE:green lake dirty or not ?!
I'm inclined to agree with Swede. First of all, Green Lake is not named for its milfoil. Eurasian milfoil is a recent (relatively speaking) addition to our waters. Natuarl blooms of pelagic algae that stain the water column green are where the name comes from. It's not a very helpful quetsion to sim...

Casting hardware off local beaches can get you some sea run cutts and resident silvers. The cutts have to go back if you catch them in the salt though.

RE:In anticipation of summer...
Swede, I certainly know the perks of being on a boat. I worked the area nine test fishery for WDFW last summer and definitely wish i could do that every day. Unfortunately, my 8.55$ hourly wage working for the Washington Conservation Corps doesn't afford me the opportunity to spend much time to get ...

RE:Edmonds Fishing Pier GONE!!!
You are clearly misinformed as to where the Edmonds fishing pier is or else just intentionally trying to alarm people with false information. No reason to be alarmed people, I assure you that the pier is still there. I can guarantee that in 999 of 1,000 cases, with current environmental regulations,...
