RE:Swim Baiters
Swim Baits work at almost any lake that has fish large enough to take them. Trout will, and often do, take lures a third their length, but most fishermen choose to go small to catch numbers not quality. Bass often prefer baits that weigh a third their own weight, so big is often better. Your questi...

RE:Swim Baiters
Loucipher, Shoot me a PM. I will be happy to take you out fishing and share with you what I know about throwing swimbaits in this area. I am not an expert, but I will be happy to spend a day on the water with you working on this technique. I am going to be hooking up with T-Rush this fall as well. ...

maybe a vote of confidence will boost my spirits. confidence is the key to success and it doesn't sound like you are too confident right now. you are setting yourself up to lose even before the game has started. do what ever it takes to get yourself in the right mindset or I would suggest not enter...

Swim Baiters
http://www.extremelures.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=3 I got a swimbait, and it's already my favorite lure. It has the best action I've seen. It goes well with my spinning gear, so I don't thing I need a baitcaster just yet. I can throw it extremely far, so far I almost spool out. What l...

RE:TriHull Bass Boat???
Forgive this maybe obvious question, but do you have an electric trolling motor on the front? Also, a depth finder up front is really nice so you can always know what structure/depth is below you. forgiven!!! As I have overlooked this. I now have another purchase to make. I do have a transome troll...

Trout lures!!!
Anyone use trout lures for bass? I picked up a buzzbomb and it works perfectly as a buzzbait. The one I bought has feathers, so it has a bigger profile. I often catch big bass on castmasters as well. I like to throw my buzzbombs in shallow water, but I sometimes hang up on peoples lawns. Usually a w...

Bass Recipes?
What are you favorite recipes for bass? Usually I go to my go to butter and flour, and to top it off I also fry up some potatoes. You can also use off the shelf batter, which works great. Make sure the oil is the right temperature before you cook. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32360566/ns/today-today_...

Spincast ?
You may have read my spinning gear thread, and this is just a continuation of that. Does anyone use spincast gear? As it looks like it would be the best of both worlds. The best thing is that you don't have to thumb the line like baitcasters. You can upgrade your rods to casting rods, but have the l...
