Re: Strangest by Catch pictures!

Caught a lot of interesting things but I think my favorite is my husband's catch of the day. A spiderman fishing pole. Sad thing is that it looked brand new. I felt really bad for the kid that lost it.

Lake Goodwin

Does this lake have a boat launch? If so, where is it located? Also, do they allow combustion motors?

Re: Spawning trout in Beaver Lake

I know they planted the retired brood stock last October but I am not sure about steelhead. The steelhead that I seen pulled out of other lakes last year that were stocked very silvery and in the 10 - 12" range. This one was very colorful and dark. He was 16" and weighed a little over 1 lb.

Spawning trout in Beaver Lake

My husband caught a male rainbow trout in spawning form at Beaver Lake (Issaquah, WA) yesterday. Had beautiful color and was a little darker than normal. It had a long jaw & hooked nose. Was full of sperm. I know they planted breed stock in the lake last October but when we caught them right after t...

Re: What do bass eat?

I have had pretty good luck using Rapala countdown & floating lures. They really seem to like the perch ones. I don't really fish for bass seriously but sometimes when the trout aren't biting I like to plunk a lure just for fun. I have also them while not trying on a wedding ring tipped with worm wh...

Re: Dick Nite Lures

Would help to know what lakes/region you're fishing. Thank everyone for the helpful information. I will give the Dick Nites suggested a try. BentRod - I have been fishing mostly small lakes in King county (Beaver, Pine, Langlois, Alice, Cottage, Shady, Shadow, Desire, Wilderness, Meridian, Angle). ...

Dick Nite Lures

I am new to trolling and fishing with lures. I have tried a few different types but did not have any luck. I am currently trolling with a wedding ring with a worm and have had some success but was told to try Dick Nite lures for better results. I am fishing for trout. I went to their website and was...
