Re: Fall trout fishing in lakes?
Thanks all for the advice. Yeah I was hoping to hookup with some last years hold overs or some triploids that have been stuffing themselves silly all summer in the deep parts of lakes. I'd take a couple of the runts too if they wanted to volunteer for my frying pan. Maybe I'll pull out the old float...

Fall trout fishing in lakes?
I was wondering if it is worth trying to hit up some of the spring stocker lakes now that summer is over and the water temps are cooling off? Will take my float tube and try out some homemade in-line spinners. Do the stocked trout turn on again come fall?

Re: Question about using spoons
Thanks all. I'll leave the spoons for the currents and keep tossing spinners in the tides.

Question about using spoons
I am still a newb when it comes to fishing for salmon and steelies. I seem to have the hang of spinner fishing. I usually fish in the mouth of a creek during incoming/slack tide and rivers not tide influenced. I want to try spoons especially in the slack tide creek. Was wondering if spoons are effec...

Re: Fishing from a pier
Thanks for the response. I don't have very much experience fishing salt but I would imagine everything would be the same in my area 7 as your area 10. I personally will throw some Big Hammer jigs and see what bites while helping my son. Maybe I can get lucky and get a cabbie, halibut or greenling.

Fishing from a pier
Taking my 7 year old fishing from a pier soon and was wondering what fish are possible to catch from a pier around here? BTW I will be fishing up in the Bellingham/Blaine area. Also what kind of bait should I get for the little guy to use?

Re: Tagging along with you on the Nooksack
@ spoonman pretty funny.
@ spenny1823 okay I live in the bay as well. Lets hook up closer it gets to silver season. Don't know how much time I'll have to fish this fall (planning in moving) but will fish as much as possible.

Tagging along with you on the Nooksack
I am not new to this page but I was not very active either. I had to change my user name cuz I forgot my password lol. Anyway I wondering if anyone on here wouldn't mind a tag along while you beat the bank of the Nooksack? I am not very experienced fishing on the Sack but I am not a beginner either....
