guys this topic pops up every freaking salmon and steel head season. Snagging is snagging and flossing well I don't think it exists. As long as the hook is in the fishes mouth its a legal fish. You want the real definition of snagging. Take a heavy weighted treble hook and drag it through the water....

since moving to ohio i have had a chancer to fish steelhead in 3e feet of snow . much different hear where they use super micro jigs and weax worms under a float no one drifts with yarn or corky or pink worm. well i got my first lake erie steelhead most likely 9 to 10 pounds.....:cheers: great steel...

I have also noticed though that alot of people are float fishing runs that are prime drifting runs fast water but my guess is that its way snaggy or very deep where you need heavier weight to get to the bottom of the river with out a hang up I myself am an ex fly guy so I can handle strike indicator...
