RE:Lake Washington Perch?
True that. The perch have been hard to come by this year for some reason. My usual perch holes have been unsuccessful. Maybe they are still in deeper water.

RE:Banjo Minnow. Fact or fiction?
What a great topic in my opinion! I forgot about these lures in my tackle box. My girlfriend bought me the kit of Banjo Minnows as advertised on tv. All I can say from my stand point is that they are over hyped and not that effect in my opinion. I have caught maybe 2 smallmouths of fa banjo minnow. ...

RE:Slip Bobber rig
how small? I have a mid-size bobber. Not to big, not to small, just right. I have a tough time seeing the really small bobbers. The smaller the better. They have some tiny ones that are about the size of a dime. Those are ideal, but you dont need them to be that small. As long as its not one of the...

Slip Bobber rig
I just rigged one of my poles up for perch, crappie, bluegill, etc. Now the rig I have set up is a slip bobber rig. I was just wondering if anyone uses them frequently around Washington? I have read great reviews about this type of setup...you are able to find fish easier (depth wise) and can adjust...

Wow, that sucks no other lakes close by King county with channel cats. Channel Cats are the best one's to catch. Are there any lakes in King county or close by with Yellow Belly catfish?

RE:Fishing diary
Yea, I have a buddy that records the date, time, weather, etc... So he encouraged me to start doing that. It's a great way to track your catches year by year and monitor the fish.

RE:lake washington
Find a dock....and throw a worm and bobber on your rod and get ready for action. I've caught perch, bluegill, bass, and trout with that simple set-up. Also, for the bass (smallies) perch crankbaits work great for me. As far as locations, I would just saw go online and research the various areas arou...

There is no access to the actually dock tho...but it does have stumps and all the wood from dock. Wha...

RE:Crappie
Hmm... I have used a perch crank bait that goes "10-12" deep, banjo minnow, senko, jig, spinner bait, and nothing but one smallmouth and that was early in april. Also, to comment on your lg mouth point...I try for them to and have no success. But, maybe I'll try cover more water and different castin...
