It's a county park, so no parking pass required. There will be two major forks in the trail. Take the left one each time, and you'll get to the main area. I've never tried going right, so I can't comment on where those will take you.

The Skokomish Tribe runs a nice two lane concrete ramp in Potlatch, just before the bridge in town. There is no dock at this one, but ample gravel beach area. The other decent launch near Hoodsport is all the way down at Twanoh State Park, but I hear they pull the docks for the winter, so not sure i...

I was wading the Green near the Auburn narrows area this afternoon, and didn't see any sign of life in the water, other than a single spawned out guy floating downstream. I sure am looking forward to the rains.
