Re: Any ice reports?
there's a couple northwest ice fishing facebook groups that are helpful. Washington ice fishing has ice reports that are updated. Not a huge list so far but it's the best I've found.

Re: What did we catch?
You'll never get bass out of lake Washington or Sammamish. They do just fine there.

Re: WDFW killing 5 more lakes this fall.
I think someone must be making money off this also. Why would they promote something that constantly cost them money and won't become self sufficient? The only thing the warm water species need is to be left alone. I figured the state would be pushing panfish. They wouldn't have to do anything. And ...

What is the point of this? They really think those lakes won't end up with those fish again? The state can't even manage a fish hatchery, good luck with actual lakes.

Re: Northern Pike fishing in some western Wa lakes
You can't really keep and eat the tigers. The minimum legal size is too big. I feel like some people in Western Washington need to get out of this little corner of the country and see how it is in the rest of the country. In other areas the lakes are full of different species of fish. It seems to wo...

Re: planned rotenone treatments of eastern Washington waters
Why does everything have to be focused on trout in this state. The only thing I can figure is there has to be shady money being made somehow for the state. These other species don't cost anything and just need to be left alone. But instead we have to kill off the warm water species and dump trout in...

Re: Ice Reports 2016-2017
I have never been Ice Fishing and my son and I are thinking of going this Sunday to Fish Lake. I've been looking for a cheap Ice Auger and can't seem to find anywhere around my area that sells them near me. Does anyone know of where I can get one for less than $50. Thanks guys! I went to fish lake ...

Re: How can I know if a lake is frozen or fishable?
Hi there, this might sound dumb, but I've been to WA (and the US in general) for not too long, so lots are really novelties to me :) I went with my kid to a few lakes we like (Angle, Beaver) and they were frozen this morning. Literally frozen, but not enough to do any ice fishing (I would assume so...

Re: Bass Fishing the Columbia
If there is an abundance of them I'll keep some sometimes. They taste great. And can stunt themselves if they overpopulate an area. I always release the big ones though. I personally hope that fish and wildlife fails miserably in their effort to reduce them in the Columbia.

Re: Bruce Bolding-(DFW) Speaking at Evergreen Basss Club Mee
I'm up north and unable to make it to your meeting especially by that time. Would it be possible to outline what that guy says about those topics you listed? I would really like to know what they have going on with their "warm water program". Especially with their lake rehabs and the Columbia.

Anyone know how curlew lake is right now? Would like to try going after some of the perch that is in it now. Been a long time since I've been up there in winter.

Sikes lake
Has anyone fished Sikes lake or know anything about it? It's a small lake out in the Carnation area west of hw 203. Looks like a decent lake that doesn't get fished much. Some mention online about it being good for largemouth, perch, crappie and bullhead. Seems to be surrounded by farms minus the on...
