I like to use Zataran's fish fry mix. I simply coat the fillets and toss 'em in the deepfryer. Then fry up a batch of hush puppies with jalapenos mixed in. Make your own tarter, kids like catsup, sometimes I use lemon or malt viniger. I also enjoy crappie prepared this way.

Very Cool. That's something I gotta do. The beauty is that most of us probably have the stuff to do it with on hand.

There were quite a few carp on the North end of Newman yesterday. We probably saw about 2 dozen or so. They were right on the bank in places.
