Re: 2015 Pond Jumperz Bass Club
Hi bcalvert, I was wondering if the club has a length limit? like 20', 200hp boats but use the electric trolling motor or is that frowned upon? Do members use pontoon boats w/ or w/out electric trolling motors? It looks like you guys have some fun 'opens' this year. Thanks, Larry

Hi guys, I have 2 10,s and a structure scan w/ the transducer in the back. It really was the only place. It couldn't imagine it on the trolling motor w/ all the rapid movement and Im really hard on my trolling motor anyway with working shallow not to mention its pretty good size. If your working dow...

Re: Left Handed Baitcasters????
I still have buddy's that use R/H baitcasters and swithcing hands after casting? I also found (for me) I can control my fish, especially smallies better with my right hand when I'm netting alone. I may have a couple R/H baitcasters but seldom use them. My left handed friend was using a R/H spinning ...

Re: Fishing license online Question
We, as outdoorsman, need to remember to turn in our crab and steelhead, salmon catch records or we'll get dinged $10 when you purchase your new licence. I found this out because I didn't turn in summer crab. We have until the end of the month for salmon, steelhead. Don't forget

Re: Cold water period of spring
Yup, hit and miss. We had a little "fish in" the other day and the very few fish came in with several good anglers working it hard for several hours. Biggest fish fish came on reaction. I knew it was just a mater of time, especially where I caught my big smallie. Gotta love Goodwin. Good job Dez

Re: Structure Scan HD
Thanks for the info. That would be nice if we could just get the new transducer for the LSS-2. I've got my 10 up front but need to replace my 5 at the console to complete the package I want. But like the LSS-2, the technology just keeps getting better.

Re: Structure Scan HD
As well as the new HDS-10 Gen 2 which from what I understand has the overlay for the LSS-1 Sructure Scan? I'm now looking at getting the HDS-10 Gen-2. Wishing they were on sale somewhere. They seem to be the same price as the HDS-10 still. Although Cabelas has a HDS-10 w/ Base map for 1,899. almost ...

Re: The Perfect Boat
Besides the longer rope and jet blast, the hole shot is a little sluggish with the 22'. It's a good workout, but not impossible for sure. I guess it depends on the boat (length, hp, hull, boat load and so forth) Just my observation. I'm certainly no expert on water sking. Good luck Edge

Re: The Perfect Boat
True that, Although if Edge is thinking about water sking and boarding, I wouldn't think an I.B. sled would be a very good choice. Maybe pulling a tube. I guess my thoughts were more along the line of fishing and crabbing and shrimping. Like Edge said "One what" Is there such a thing as the perfect ...

Hey Edge, My best friend has a 22' Alumaweld I.B. 225 Merc. at the pump.(6 or 7 years now) Started with a 19' Stryker. The difference in size and quality of fishing, crabbing, anything is amazing. 2 people can walk side by side down the middle for one thing. He has 2 electic downriggers on each side...

Re: Cold water period of spring
Goodwin can be hit or miss this time of year although with some warmer temps and some stable weather it should be good in a couple weeks. Small lake but fun. I hear what your saying about the rain, it takes a bit of the fun out of it. Looks like it will be around for a while. Oh well
