18'6" and my 7' rod doesn't hang off to the side. The rod locker actually will fit a 7'6" rod.

RE:Westside Smallmouth Tactics
I rarely use anything, but 1/4 oz quick drop weight. Once in awhile, I'll go down to 3/16th. I like using a 1/4 oz because here you can be casting to 10ft of water or 35ft and I don't want to change weights all the time. I comes down to confidence and the condition. Work the weed edge or docks in th...

RE:Drop Shot advice please
You're doing it right. Just be patient and don't over-work the lure. Subtle shaking works for me. It took me awhile to get used to it, but once you figure it out you'll catch a lot of with this technique.

RE:Leader: Mono or Flouro
I use mainly powerpro on most of my rods with floura leaders. I like the no stretch with the braid and invisability of the flouracarbon. I use 10lb powerpro with either 6-10lb leader on my spinning gear. This will eliminate your line twist, plus braid last a long time and all you have to do is repla...

RE:Ways to find the pattern
I had a lot of trouble with deep water, but don't give up. Try just bringing your dropshot rod and nothing else that way you won't have the urge to use your other rods. Also, if you are boating, try new spots. Don't just keep on going to the same spots over and over again.

Yes it's solid and it's about 5ft long and will only hold one rod.
