DC, You da man! I have no comeback.... No comeback needed. I genuinely like the word. I am a movie nerd and it reminded me of a line that Billy Crystal used in the movie City Slickers. I won't get into it but when I read that word in your post it made me think of Billy Crystal and it cracked me up.

How about a lil better info on this derby. Banks Lake is huge. Trying to find a tourney on the lake will be poor. Bass tournaments on Banks are always run out of Coulee Playland. It won't be hard to find. You can also look at the website the poster directed you to. You weren't planning on fishing t...

RE:Buzzbaits
If you are going to experiment with this bait NOW IS THE TIME! They are a ton of fun and big fish love them. There is a ton of folk lore out there about these baits. This bait is intended to provoke a reactionary strike. You never know when or why a fish is going to inhale one. I love to fish them r...

RE:Long Lake (Lake Spokane)
I agree that those docks get pounded but from my experience and what I have witnessed I wouldn't say they are the worst places to catch LM. Most guys are only picking off the fish on the edges. There just arne't that many guys that are good enough with a jig to get their baits to the backs of the do...

RE:Long Lake (Lake Spokane)
The stuff Yellowbear pointed out are all good LM spots on Long. All those places you were describing that you like to fish when the pads pop have fish on them now. The pads may not be there but the fish are for sure. Long is a dock fishing lake if there ever was one. Any of the bays i.e. Felton, Spo...

RE:What to Try
I understand the "crutch" argument. However, I have never been penalized or rewarded at the scales for the baits I caught my fish on. In fact the weighmaster has ever asked me what I caught them on....only if they are alive. My point is new fishman or old, the idea is to get bit. I wish I could get ...

RE:What to Try
I'm not saying they don't catch big fish just they don't do it all day long. I did the senko and culprit test out on a Lk two years ago with RB. We found a nice fish that was going up and down the shore line and RB cast his senko over to the fish and the fish went right to it with its nose right on...

I have the Humminbird on my boat and used the Lowrance unit 3 times in the last couple of weeks. Both of them are worth every penny. Not even debatable!

In my former life I was a flyfisherman. Have you vere seen a scud or "freshwater shrimp"? They are tiny. They do look exactly like a big shrimp but they are microscopic in comparison to a real shrimp and would be uncastable on anyting other than a fly rod. Good luck with that!

All I have to say is this year March is the new April. I fished a tournament on Sammamish a few weeks ago and we had no problem catching big fish. I fished a lake in the middle part of the state last Friday and had the best day of my life. Forgive me for not naming the lake. We boated a bunch of big...

I was in your exact position not long ago. I had the opportunity to fish with a couple of guys who had caught fish. They weren't great anglers but they had caught bass. They each had a couple of things they felt confident in and they did them all day and soon I was catching bass. It was a huge relie...

RE:New Purchase
You know what TNJ your right and when he is using light line and he hooks up with his new personal best smallie and breaks off because of a faulty or sticky drag then he will realize a better reel would have been wise. Guys this is the end for me in the forums. I will post reports every now and the...

RE:New Purchase
I would have to agere with TNJ on both accounts. The reel isn't as critical and why would a guy get so upset about somone disagreeing with him. Some drags are better than others but if you learn to back reel (which you should be doing on big fish) the drag becomes a lot less important. In addition t...

If these places are secret and you don't want anyone to discover them then why do you need a place to report results?

E- It is becoming very clear to me that you and I are speaking 2 distinctly different languages. The comment G-man made about B&O taxes is precisely the same comment I made in 2 prior posts and you didn't understand. Did you read the part where we both stated that Washington is the only state in the...
