Looking for a ride!
I am fairly new to Salmon fishing in the sound. I have been in the service for 11 years now and most of it was spent in the south. Most of the fishing I did out there was for Walleye. I grew up in Oregon but my dad raised me as a trout fisherman. I would love to get out on the water with someone who...

RE:i might have to keep over the limit
I doubt the patriotism of someone thinking about breaking the law but depending on how much you care for your state or country think about enlisting into the service. If full time active duty is not for you look into one of the reserve components. I know for a fact that the sign on bonus for the Was...

RE:Looking for a camp ground along a decent river for Kids to fish!
Wow, you guys are great! thanks for all of the spots. Someone PM'ed me and we went to Verlot Camp Ground just past Granite falls and it was great. The fishing wasn't the best and the water was awfully silty but we had a great time. I will definitely check out Icicle Campground soon also. Appreciate ...

RE:Please HELP: Upcoming Dungeness Crab Season
I just sent a letter also. We had pretty good luck last year for Dungies but this stuff PI$$ES me off. I have been serving in the service for 11 years now and Washington needs to get off their liberal A$$ when it comes to things of this matter. How long does a group have to pay penance????? I am all...

Looking for a camp ground along a decent river for Kids to fish!
Not sure if thi is the right place to post this but I am fairly new to camping here in washington and looking for a established camp ground to take the wife and kids to that we can both wake up to the sound of the river and be able for the kids to fish it. I myself have been in the Army for 12+ year...

If you are in any sort of fast water it is deff a good idea to pay for a pontoon with a stainless frame. I fish a bucks bag and take it down the sky all the time. A buddy of mine had the cheap Joes aluminum job and bent the frame.

Flying for the Pinks
I am new to the area and just took up fly fishing last year. I am by far not experienced yet. I have a steelhead set up on a Gloomis Stream Dance 8wt. (maybe 9 can't remember) and the exact set up for trout but on a 6wt. Which one of these rods would be better for the pinks. Can anyone give me some ...

Skykomish info?
I am fairly new to the are and trying to learn your fishing out here. I have been fishing the Snohomish slaying the pinks in my 14' aluminum deep -V but floated the SKY last year a few times. I enjoy that river because there is hardly any boat traffic. I have drifted from High bridge down to Sultan ...

RE:How close are the Pinks?
We put in at the launch in Everett (that is the only one I know) I had no clue how large the tide effects the boat launch. Luckily we only brought our smaller aluminum boat because we had to drop the boat on the and and then work it probably 20 yards to the water. Anyway, we slayed them. We only kep...

RE:question
I fished the Sno Sunday and slayed the pinks. If it is pinks you are fishing for you deff need to bleed them ASAP and put them on ice. If you dont the meat turns to apple sauce and doesn't taste that good. Most people just gut and bleed them right in the river (that is what we did) it all gets eaten...

RE:Trolling for Salmon (Area 11)
flying_soldier, are you talking about a Deep 6? Fisherhall, The Deep 6 divers can dive 40' down so I was told to just let out a lot of line and you know your at 40'. But they also have a double Deep 6 that goes down 60'. I have heard a lot of good things about them. I had 2 of them but a fish snapp...

RE:How close are the Pinks?
Can anyone give me an idea of where I can put in and get out on the Sno with my pontoon? I am new to the area and would like to drift it for some pinks and or a king or two. I have drifted a few day long drifts on the sky already. Do the pinks/kings take on the sky? Sorry if it is a stupid question,...
