Hey guys, I am wondering how you guys deal with line twist on your spinning rods. I am thinking about switching to braid, but I don't know if braid is a good idea for drift fishing.

How big are they at Harts?

Is there a general location around the lake that I should start to look? Or just anywhere 15-30 feet is good?

Hey all, I have been out a few times to try for koks at American. After limiting I have tried for perch and failed I really don't know where to start. Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sweet! But I am also wondering about boat catching etc in the salt. Could you go out of Westport or Neah Bay and specifically target Steelhead?

Okay guys, I have looked everywhere and never ever found an answer to this question. Why don't we ever hear of people catching steelhead in the salt? I have never even heard of them commercially taken in the salt. What's the deal?

I just went Montana last week and learned a bit about fly fishing, I am hooked. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on a starter set up rod, reel, etc. One that wouldn't become obsolete in a month. Also, does anyone use any books or videos for learning the basics? I am vacationing near Great Falls, MT for a few days this week. Where would you guys recommend fishing around there? I have a friend that lives there, but he has only been fishing for a year or so. Just wanted to see if there were some other opinions.
