I collect, repair and use the old 300 series of Mitchell reels exclusively. My goal is to find the reels that are lightly used in spite of their age. I expect to bring several vintage Mitchell spinning reels that I have cleaned, repaired, lubed and refurbished. Models: 300A - later improved versions of the well known Mitchell 300; 302 - saltwater reel, the large one; 306 - intermediated in size between the 300 and the 302, for salmon & steelhead ...

I am planning to be there! I would love to reserve a small table space for my refurbished Mitchell spinning reels. I am most excited to meet new people and learn more about fishing the northwest. (But I don't know anyone there yet.)

That end of the road area on the Skookumchuck River is accessable, unlike so much of the lower river. Before the end of the public road where everyone parks there are several other parking areas. Access and steelhead. What else could we wish for?

I grew up using a Mitchell 300 reel almost every weekend during the fifties and sixties. Then when I was raising three sons during the eighties and early nineties I bought Mitchell 300A reels for them. Recently, I began buying these old reels on eBay and restoring them to excellent working condition...
