Smoked Koke and bows?
So I scored myself some fish last Monday out of Spring Canyon. Never smoked Kokanee, Wow, fantastic, the rainbow is great as well, but the kokes are like a well marbled ribeye, nice oily meat. WOW headed back this weekend in search of more. But my question. I did a pretty basic dry brine, let them s...

I've got the fever, waiting game.
My brother is meeting me at my place in Coulee City Friday night, we are going to hit Spring Canyon hard. Depending on results I'll head back solo sun and monday but looking to hit up 2 rivers for burbot and maybe a walleye or 2. Ordered my Roosevelt premit on the 17th, hoping it gets here. Ordered ...

Re: Fishing around Coulee.
Yeah, just saw that story on the news, 2nd big poaching in as many years. Sadly a slap on the wrist, one headed home, other to 2 released no bail. I'd love to see that judge sit for 7 hrs in the cold like the gammie did. Makes me sick. I limited today at Keller Ferry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Fishing around Coulee.
Extended my weekend stay till Tuesday.
Did a little hunting over the weekend.
Got the batteries charging on the boat.
Where should I head, and what should I fish for?
Located in Coulee city.
Besides location, tackle? etc?
Ideas? Where to launch?
Thanks?

Depending on weather I'll give it a try mid month.
Crazy wind last weekend!!
As for a spare room, life is to short to not make new friends.

No one?
Ok.. Other than location.. How about just tips?
Bait?
Lurks?
I hear of night fishing?
Lamps?
Looking at giving it a whirl in a couple of weeks, but surely over Christmas.

Point me, Grant County...
Last summer I bought a house just blocks from Banks lake. [thumbsup] I fish this lake a lot, mostly spring bass and rainbows. That I know. Put some nice perch slabs on the skillet off the Coullee City docks in Sept/Oct. Now here we are, sliding into the deep winter. I hear a lot about the Whitefish ...

Took a 300 mile clamming cruise today
Got up at 5am, was clamming digging by 8:30, limited by 8:45 home by noon. Said to see the clamming season come to a close, So I took it out in my personal style. For any of you all that have not been clamming, when it reopens this fall, load up the kids and enjoy a day at the beach. Such fun! Even ...

I'm back in actions.. Just in time.
Bought a new to me gently used 1993 Smokercraft Fazer with a 70 hp main ( 60 hrs ) and a 8 hp kicker, with 2 manual down riggers ( to be replaced with electrics when $$ permits ) .
I'm ready to rock in roll.
