THE MAN WHO IS SHORE BOUND

Post by AdMagee » Thu May 22, 2008 3:55 pm

I been fishing from shore for a long time and for some reason I have figured out that any lake with bass. And a few trails is worth a toss of two of a live crawdad or lure. I found that you can catch a trophy and not even have boat but you catch fewer and less fish usually may 4 fish a hole if your lucky. Most the time only 2 nice sized fish and one dink. Bass are vary interesting to me in that I have seen a bass probably 6 pounds smallmouth in a lake and its in about 5 or less of water and watch a guy cast and cast to it and it just looks and the bait. And I mean the guy tried artificials and live bait and the bass was on to his tricks just wouldnt budge just watch the bait go by follow it about a inch. But in the same I have gone back to that spot seen a bass same size there and tink with it with artificials and no takes then switch to live nightcrawler and drag by and fish just all of a sudden turn on. Very cool to see in clear water fish that large get duped to bite. But anyways my rambling Shore fishing is seek and destroy I guess pound pound pound just like in a boat but you got less options. And less fish to work with most the time. Timing and persistance seem to be the ticket. I am actually planning on exploring Lake washington up north more near the canal hopeing to actually finally catch a good largemouth out of this lake never caught one here only seen them and been flusterated. Tons of smallies I am bored lol I know them like the back of my hand largies a different story need help Jigs are my main approach and live bait my second crawdad tails and nightcrawlers. Help? addy or even a spot where I might have chance to catch one. Catch and release I say fun fish to catch lots of fishing pressure when warm outside summer is almost fully upon us. Hard for a shorie to get into them but I know work and persistance will work eventually Help stop help stop largemouth LKWA stop lol.

It is an unfair advanage to use live bait in this state for some reason unless its a worm. Back home in Fl. we would use shrimp to catch any fish fresh or salt water. As far as bank fishing for LMB just do the same as you would do for smallies but use larger baits and you should catch some.
Are you hung up again!
