RE:What do you get out of your bass club?
I hope this isn't getting off topic in regards to "What your bass club offers" But can anybody say anything regarding.... I realize that not everybody in a bass club has a 30k new boat,,, but are there people who fish out of your traditional Lund or Gamefisher, Smokercraft etc. I'm talking aluminum deep V hull trout/salmon type rigs?
I have a relatively new Lund, but sometimes I get hung up thinking that I can't play with the boys with the real bass boats.

It's not the boat, it is the person fishing.
The only reason a person would 'need' a bass boat or walleye boat is if they fish tourneys and NEED a livewell.
And you can install a livewell in most any boat. Like this, the white thing showing between the seats is a cooler with pump and lines to eriat the water in the cooler;

There are a few tin boats in my club. It doesn't matter what kind of boat you fish out of, as long as you keep the fish alive and its coast guard approved. The reason why people buy bass boats is because they are meant for bass fishing, are fast, LOOK GOOD, proper storage, low to the water for stability and makes for less of a wind sail, and many other reasons. A boat is a boat.

AMEN TO THAT , Boats dont make anglers ! Ron Hobbs fished out of a tin boat for a couple of years before he upgraded , and let me stress the he WON MAJOR LOCAL TOURNEYS out it also !!
