Dez, way to nail it man! I talked to your fishing partner and you were on fire. Glad you had a good time on your visit north.

RE:Trophy Bass Pics 2010
Well, it is September and I finally got to do some smallmouth fishing for the first time this year on Monday and Tuesday. We caught solid numbers on Monday and had around 22 lbs. for our best five. The swimbait accounted for the better fish but we caught them on a variety of techniques. Yesterday I stuck with the TW Swimmer and didn't catch as many fish due to the post front conditions, but I am guessing we had over 23 lbs. for our best five. I may not get out again this year so I wanted to post something on this board for 2010. Here is a nice swimbait smallmouth from yesterday afternoon.

Nice beast Tag!
And thanks for all the info.
At least FM and I know they really do eat the swimbaits now...
But you obviously pay your scuba divers way more than any of us do.

Scuba divers wouldn't do you any good for smallmouth this time of year. By the time the diver comes up to the surface to tell you where they are, they've moved.....

RE:Trophy Bass Pics 2010
Well i finally got at it and finally did it
I was able to break the mark of a 5lb smallie not once but twice in a trip
it was outstanding
both fish were porked out on food and put up hell of a fight with jumps and dives like you couldnt believe
this piggy went 6lb 4oz
Then less then half an hour later i nailed this piggy that went 5lb 1oz
she had a sore on her side but was more than healthy

Congrats. I can see which lake you're on too. But I'm not gonna say.
